Application of Ultrasonic Atomization in a Combined Circulation System of Spray Evaporative Cooling and Air Cooling for Electric Machines

چکیده
A combined circulation system of spray evaporative cooling and air (CCSSECAC) is a way to enhance the performance an air-cooled electric machine while maintaining its existing structure. Based on traditional machine, when discrete medium particles are scattered into airflow, they will reach heat source with circulation. The capacity enhanced simultaneously through phase transition convection transfer. Ultrasonic atomization simple produce tiny droplets good improve CCSSECAC. To verify effectiveness such system, principle test model was built multi-operational condition experiment carried out as exploratory study. experimental results showed that new feasible for horizontal machines, stator coil temperature significantly reduced compared mode.
